Give As You Live Reading Challenge

Give As You Live has kicked off a new challenge to help raise money for the Borehamwood Foodbank.

Supporters are encouraged to take on a sponsored reading challenge, eg read for an hour a day, read a book series or complete 2-3 hard reads such as War and Peace. And get sponsored by their friends and family.

All the money raised goes towards buying food and toiletry supplies from pasta, sauces, tinned meats, vegetables and desserts, to sanitary and toiletry products, which are given to people in need during our twice-weekly sessions on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Give As You Live Partnership with the Borehamwood Foodbank give supporters and easy way to raise money for the Foodbank while they shop, or through challenges such as this. So far, almost £3,000 has been raised through the initiative.
