We were delighted to receive a visit from Oliver Dowden MP earlier today. He met our trustees and some of our volunteers to hear about the vital work Borehamwood Foodbank does to support people in our local community.
He said: “It was a great pleasure to visit the Borehamwood Foodbank today. Soon they will mark their 10th anniversary, and over the past decade, they have worked with tireless enthusiasm to support the most vulnerable people in Hertsmere. They provide not just emergency food parcels, but also invaluable holistic support that endeavours to help our citizens move away from food insecurity.”
Oliver added: “I was very impressed with their operations and how they are working hard for our community in Borehamwood. I would like to thank the team of volunteers and staff for all their hard work.”
