Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Opens Our New Warehouse

Yesterday we officially launched our new warehouse at Borehamwood Foodbank. We were delighted to welcome Hertfordshire’s Lord-Lieutenant Robert Voss CBE, CStJ, along with our local Mayors and their Deputies. The Leaders of Hertsmere Borough Council came too, with numerous other councillors in attendance as well. Many other supporters and partners joined us, including representatives of the Diocese of Westminster, as well as our own fantastic volunteers, staff and trustees.

We are so grateful to the local community for everyone’s unwavering support of our charity. Our new warehouse will bring transformational change to our operations. Whilst we all long for the day when no foodbank is ever needed, Borehamwood Foodbank remains steadfast in its support of those who require our support and services…. for as long as necessary.
