Judith will recruit and manage a team of employees and volunteers who keep the foodbank running day to day; induct train and co-ordinate the volunteers, field enquiries from clients, and work with donor organisations such as supermarkets, schools, faith groups, clubs etc.
She will also be responsible for the overall health and safety on the sites and will manage special events such as our family lunches and activity days and collections.
Judith may be a familiar face to many of you as she has been supporting the foodbank for the past decade, so we’re delighted that she has taken on this critical role at a time when our services are in such high demand, and we expect increased pressure on households in the coming months.
